Why I write.
1. I believe in unicorns.
2. Sometimes when I’m out walking, fish follow me.
3. Sometimes, music follows me too. Really.
4. It helps me figure out how I fit into the picture.
5. When I don’t, bad things happen to my head.
6. Writing makes priceless magic.
With thanks to the beautiful city of San Francisco.
So...Why do you write?

NOT YOUR USUAL SUSPECTS
A group blog featuring an international array of killer mystery, suspense, and romantic suspense writers. With premises and story lines different from your run-of-the-mill whodunits, we tend to write outside the box. We blog several times a week on all topics relating to romantic suspense and mystery, our writing, and our readers. We welcome all comments and often have guest bloggers. All our authors can be contacted separately, too, using their own social media links.
We find our genre delightfully, dangerously, and deliciously exciting - join us here, if you do too!
NOTE: the blog is currently dormant but please enjoy the posts we're keeping online.

I love this, Jules. I had to price some items (4000) for my hubby's department after a fire a couple of years ago. On the list (transcribed via Chinese whispers) were six unicorns :)
Now that's a biology department!
Because the dog won't finish anything for me.

I write to stay sane. My 2-year-old is currently screaming at the top of his lungs. I'm going to my happy place within a manuscript... LOL
Love it - very creative.
Because I love populating my Bookshelf page;-) http://www.wynterdaniels.com/coming-soon/
Wow! Toni, that's fun. I remember reading a long time ago, that the last wooly mammoth was actually photographed alive somewhere in deep Siberia or frozen Mongolia, which always had me wondering what else might be wandering in the less traveled parts of the world. Maybe... unicorns? :)
JB...does the dog start it for you? 'Cause I'm a great pet sitter.
Anne Marie--feeling your pain. Been there. And I say: Power to the shields! Defend the happy place!
Wynter...you're my hero.
:)
I'm a bit late, JW. Chasing a unicorn of my own. Writing takes me to other worlds. Introduces me to all sorts of people and cultures and keeps me slightly sane. Your blog is a delight.
Awww, thanks Elise. I'm with you on the slightly sane. Except when it's making me crazy. ;)
