Maureen's reminded me of Along Came a Spider, too. I must have watched that film a dozen times and still love it.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05938431508430656253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-85633387406292315322012-01-19T01:40:44.650-08:002012-01-19T01:40:44.650-08:00The whole star to me in a mystery is the atmospher...The whole star to me in a mystery is the atmosphere, even more than the plot :). I think that's why many smaller budget or unusual films stay in my memory. I'll look up this movie.

I love Hitchcock - Marnie was one of my favourites! Usual Suspects, Insomnia, LA Confidential, Third Man, Manchurian Candidate, Marathon Man, Ipcress File, No Way Out, A Kiss Before Dying, Vantage Point... these are some of the ones I re-watch.

I'd better stop before I spend all day on my DVd shelf... :)Clare Londonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09392142798976142547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-53707351790154059732012-01-18T17:26:03.357-08:002012-01-18T17:26:03.357-08:00That's a tough one. But I also like ALONG CAME A SPIDER.

You make a very good point about the end of the movie. It's more about the ride.Maureen A. WOW. That's such a great moment. But the whole film is gripping although I detest the choice the male protag makes.

Hey, there would be a great debate question! :-DJosh Lanyonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11944091956589831656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-59628688196973554962012-01-18T14:25:37.510-08:002012-01-18T14:25:37.510-08:00LOL, cross posted.
