I think a writer has to go the extra mile to make the picture clear and I respect your talent for it.Dee J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12299652828227486747noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-63056927829210322342012-05-02T09:03:04.419-07:002012-05-02T09:03:04.419-07:00I love writing in a male POV. And I don't think I'd do the genre justice the way you do, Clare.Toni Andersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08348843511453338339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-33194087900763338282012-05-02T08:54:02.919-07:002012-05-02T08:54:02.919-07:00Clare, I apologize for being so late. Seeing a relationship build between two people, no matter what the combination, is what it's about. I've read a few M/M books. Some have been excellent (like yours) others have been a total disappointment. They were written simply for the shock value.<br />Thanks for the post and insight.Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09054306874904898496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-64887832021552842052012-05-01T13:29:10.339-07:002012-05-01T13:29:10.339-07:00Good point, Marcelle. But seriously, the premise holds true for whoever you make your "heroes" - you have to be true to their character. Gender shouldn't be ignored, even if many human aspects are universal.Clare Londonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09392142798976142547noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-63707439510010322412012-05-01T13:08:43.228-07:002012-05-01T13:08:43.228-07:00Interesting post, Clare. After all, each character is an individual and one of the most defining characteristics of a person is gender.Marcelle Dubéhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18164965676254630066noreply@blogger.com
