Plus she'd been all 'it's a wonderful book.'<br /> Ritahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09054306874904898496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-17973688144282956692015-12-06T07:27:02.053-08:002015-12-06T07:27:02.053-08:00Yes Gladys I know. The Girl on the Train/Girl on the Train issue came up earlier in the year at my book club. Half the club read one, the other half accidentally picked up the other. :-) Mia Kayhttp://authormiakay.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-79049796161201428342015-12-05T08:28:12.286-08:002015-12-05T08:28:12.286-08:00I still write for the joy of it, Rita. Write what pleases you and to hell with those who advise you to write to market.Marcelle Dubéhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18164965676254630066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7545210782126483136.post-18951282570203374142015-12-04T08:31:00.970-08:002015-12-04T08:31:00.970-08:00Rita, I'm SO glad you're writing for the j...Rita, I'm SO glad you're writing for the joy of it! I felt like I lost some of that joy this year with my busy publishing schedule. (Well, busy for me. I know many authors who write/publish several times what I'm working on this year!) I'm a big proponent of the idea that if you don't enjoy what you're doing, you shouldn't do it. Life is short. Too many people go through life without a purpose, and they're not happy. Be happy, and it'll show in your writing. :)<br /><br />Oh, and that link about the confusion between the two books. All I can say is oh, my! LOL That would be a shocker for the author to suddenly be selling at that level.Anne Marie Beckerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17603878676306179018noreply@blogger.com
